The Board of Directors invites self-advocates with CVI to apply to become board members and contribute to strategic planning and implementation. This would make an incredible impact on future generations of people with CVI and the trajectory of our organization. Please apply or share the opportunity with others.
Applicant must:
- Be 19 years of age or older
- Be an individual with CVI
- Be a current member of PCVIS or willing to join
- Attend monthly board meetings (first Wednesday of every month at 7 pm ET)
- Join a working committee (additional meetings as needed)
- Commit to a four-year term
- Be willing to share your perspectives to advance advocacy work

How to apply
1 Submit your application by completing the form. The application may be completed in writing or verbally (video or audio file).
2 The Board of Directors will review applications over the summer.
3 A board member will reach out to schedule a brief virtual meeting with you and, if needed, your support person.
4 We will send your short bio and relevant details from our virtual meeting to PCVIS members for a vote.
5 We will announce new board members at the annual meeting in October 2025.
